Mr. S. S. Naganand has been actively involved in a wide range of professional, educational, social, and spiritual initiatives beyond his distinguished legal career. His contributions reflect a deep commitment to public service, community development, and the promotion of ethical and cultural values.
He presently serves as the Vice President of the Bar Association of India (BAI) and Vice President of LAWASIA, where he plays a key role in fostering collaboration and dialogue among legal professionals across national and international platforms.
He is also the former President of the Karnataka State Commission of Jurists, where he contributed to advancing Rule of law and independence of judiciary.
Mr. S.S Naganand has been a SEBI-nominated Public Representative on the Bangalore Stock Exchange, providing his expertise to ensure fairness, transparency, and integrity in market operations.
In addition to his professional engagements, he holds several leadership and trustee positions in philanthropic, spiritual, and educational institutions. He serves as a Trustee of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Puttaparthi, and other allied trusts, which are engaged in large-scale humanitarian, educational, and healthcare initiatives across India.
He is also the Chairman of the Maharani Ammanni College Trust, which manages and supports educational institutions dedicated to the empowerment of women and academic excellence.
Further, Mr. Naganand is a Trustee of Vedanta Bharati, an organization committed to the dissemination of spiritual and philosophical knowledge, and a Trustee of Samskrutha Bharati, a pan-India movement dedicated to promoting the use of spoken Sanskrit.
His spirit of service extends to community leadership as well — he is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Bengaluru North, where he contributed to various community development and social service projects.
